WRITE THE FEDS ON RUMBLE STRIPS

Martha Roskowski is urging riders to send letters to government representatives concerning the increasing use of rumble strips across the country. She says:

While we're making some progress on rumble strips with the Colorado Department of Transportation, I'm very worried about what we've heard in recent conference calls with top Federal Highway Administration staff. In short, they love rumble strips and some want to see them on every rural highway in America. Please write to Mr. Kenneth Wykle at the FHWA. A real letter or fax is much more effective than e-mail. Please send copies to the cc's indicated and include the cc's in your letter so Mr. Wykle knows who else is getting the letter:

Kenneth R. Wykle
Administrator, FHWA
400 7th St SW
Washington DC 20590
